Houston Welcomes Refugees

Volunteer Opportunities

  • We are still receiving many refugees each month. As the refugee crisis in Afghanistan and Ukraine are no longer in the news, we are seeing less volunteers mobilizing to welcome the many refugees arriving! We would love people to attend an Orientation and prayerfully considering joining a Welcome Team. Welcome Teams commit to walk alongside a newly arrived refugee family in friendship!
  • One way to directly bless a refugee family is to host your own Welcome Kit Collection Drive. You can do this with your colleagues, your family, or a small group! Contact info@houstonwelcomesrefugees.com for a toolkit on how to host!
