At The Get Together, we ENGAGE business people by inviting them to share what they know from their professional lives with Christ-centered ministries.

The Need – Several years ago, GT Partner Ministry, Generation One, saw that one way to break the cycle of poverty in their community was to start a business that would employ young men and women, teach them job skills and enable them to provide for their families.

The Idea – The staff at Generation One decided to open a screen printing and embroidery business.

The Know How was provided by business owners, executives and entrepreneurs who participate in The Get Together.  These business professionals assisted with sales, marketing and website development, employment practices, quality control and accounting practices.

The Result – People like Joyshell, pictured below, are employed and providing for their children.
